E-Z Lok Brass Knife Thread Inserts for Wood:
The E-Z Lok Brass Threaded Insert for Wood is a high quality solid brass fastener that is designed for hard woods, like oak, cherry and maple. They provide strong metal machine screw threads and are ideal for use wherever assembly or dis-assembly would lead to thread erosion or stripping. The external knife thread cuts into the wood and provides high tensile pull loads. The slotted design allows the insert to be installed with a screwdriver, but an E-Z Lok Drive Tool is recommended for best results.
