ANTQ. MONKEY STUFFED TOY. ORGAN GRINDER MONKEY 15" TALL. RARE.

Description

This wonderful antique stuffed Monkey comes from the home of a woman who owned many splendid toys in her childhood. (1920s-1930s)
There is no way to date this Monkey and no known manufacturer. I have researched and asked toy collectors for any information. "Organ-grinder's Monkey" has been the best guess and sum total of knowledge regarding this special toy's make.  (If you know more, please do share.)
I am not sure what stuffing was used. His jacket and other parts appear to be made of felt/brushed cotton. The black lines you see are twisted wire. His tail flops around a bit. His eyes are made of glass.
The Monkey is in terrific condition having been stored away for many decades. At least 60 years that I know of.
He could use a light cleaning, but has no issues apart from where the one knee has a wire trying to poke through.
Dimensions:
15" tall x 7" deep (not including tail) and 3.5" wide at the hips.
