Description
This is a hand tinted postcard titled "U. S. Life Saving Station, Evanston, Ill." There is a message on the front but it is mostly in the sky so you can still see the bulidings and equipment of the life saving service. It appears that there is a tower to sighting problems and a tall tower that may be for telegraph signals. The card was publsihed by "Famous Post Carte and was mailed rom Warren, Pennsylvania to Buffalo, New York on August 3, 1910. Except for the message on the front, it is in good undamaged condition.
