Figas (Feegah) are historically intertwined with good-luck beliefs (ea. country-origin has it's particular connotations...fertility, luck, fortune etc...no claioims on this listing obviously) in several countries, Brazil being the main one that uses this figure-motif very  frequently in their jewelry & charms ...often they are dressed with gems, gold tops, platinum, different gemstones (aqua, lapis, amethyst etc) and are also carved out of wood in an artisan rustic fashion similar to these; often the simple carvings are the ones with most beauty. These particular ones have that artisan-rustic-finish, with a beautiful rhodochrosite-high-polish
